A Georgian identity, with room for creative branding
Georgia is a sovereign country in the Caucasus, bordering Russia, Turkey, Armenia and Azerbaijan, with a Black Sea coastline. Its official language is Georgian. The .GE zone dates to 1992; available names are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Before you register a .GE name
2–63 characters
Use Latin letters, digits 0–9 and hyphens. Do not start or end with a hyphen. Uppercase and lowercase letters are equivalent.

Move an existing .GE domain
Get the EPP code
Request the transfer code from the current registrar or generate it in the owner’s NIC.GE profile.
Submit within 7 days
Provide the valid code and a complete application to GlobalR. Generate a new code if the previous one expires.
Complete the transfer
Allow 7 working days for the process; management with the gaining registrar becomes available after completion. The registry procedure requires payment for a one-year extension.
The 30-day expiry window
Renew before the expiry date to keep the domain working. If it is not renewed, the domain is suspended for 30 days after expiry. After that period, the registration and related register data are deleted and the name becomes available to others.
