ANTIGUA & BARBUDA / .AG
.AG is the country-code top-level domain of Antigua and Barbuda, an island nation in the eastern Caribbean, in the West Indies of the Americas. Between the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean, the country includes the two main islands, Antigua and Barbuda, and several smaller islands.
A .AG domain helps local and international companies establish an identity connected to Antigua and Barbuda. Its short ending also offers a memorable name for businesses in other markets.

In Germany, Austria and Switzerland, AG is used for Aktiengesellschaft: a corporation limited by shares, owned by shareholders and potentially traded on a stock exchange.
AG can suggest agriculture; Ag is the chemical symbol for silver, from the Latin argentum. Both can inspire a concise industry address.
Use 1–63 characters before the extension: Latin letters (a–z), numbers (0–9) and hyphens. Start and end with a letter or number, never a hyphen.
Choose 1–10 years. A valid, paid registration is normally immediate and automated. Working DNS nameservers are needed to use the domain online.
Names are allocated first come, first served, except reserved or restricted names. NIC AG reserves all one-character names; availability and registry policy still apply.
Provide accurate ownership and contact information, whether you register for yourself or on behalf of a customer.
Request the EPP authorization code from the current registrar and provide it to GlobalR. Allow up to seven working days for processing; the domain becomes manageable with the gaining registrar after completion.
The domain must be active, unlocked and outside deletion or redemption. It must have been registered for more than 60 days. Check the two-month restriction after a previous transfer or a refused transfer.
Obtain the authorization code from the losing registrar, confirm the administrative contact details and submit the transfer to the gaining registrar.
The transfer requires approval from both the losing registrar and administrative contact. A refusal from either rejects the request. All three parties are notified of the final approval, refusal or timeout.
The GlobalR approval workflow allows one week for replies: no reply from the losing registrar is treated as approval; no reply from the administrative contact results in refusal. NIC AG’s published instructions describe a five-day registry transfer response window. Confirm the current instructions for your domain before submission.

NIC AG is the Network Information Centre for .AG. The registry maintains domain records, sets allocation policies and operates the domain zone, including the nameserver information published in its zone file. IANA lists UHSA School of Medicine as the ccTLD manager and Afilias as the technical contact.
GlobalR works directly with Afilias to provide .AG registry services. Registrars, hosting companies and resellers can offer .AG through our gateway instead of spending time and resources on their own accreditation, approvals and technical testing. Our experienced team supports setup and day-to-day domain operations.
