.TK ccTLD

.TK is the ccTLD of Tokelau.

Tokelau is a remote group of atolls in the South Pacific Ocean, halfway between Hawaii and New Zealand, of which it's a territory. It's usually accessed by boat from Samoa, a trip that can take around 24 hours.

Mandatory Requirements for .TK Domain Names

• The Domain Name may only contain numbers (0-9), dashes and Latin letters, and its combination,
• The Domain Name with capital and lowercase letters are not differentiated between;
• The Domain Name shall not start and end with a dash;
• The minimum number of symbols for Domain Name is 4 (fore) and maximum - 63 (sixty-three).
• Other special characters, spaces or stressed vowels (such as à, é, ò, í) are not permitted.

.TK Domain activation

The domain name can be activated when the payment is complete and we have all the requested documents (including the payment confirmation). The domain registration time frame for .tk during general availability is 2 Days and are available for 1-10 Year(s). The .tk domain can be registered by companies and individuals.

At present, the .tk domain zone does not provide means to hide the information of the domain owner. All information (name, address, email, etc.) will be displayed in WHOIS.

Domain Transfer from registrar to registrar

To initiate the transfer of a .tk domain name you will have to provide an authorization code (AuthID). You can take it from your current domain registrar.
Also, please, ensure that no protection against transfer is activated at the current registrar.

Once the transfer has been finalized, the domain name's expiration date is extended for a one-year period.

Domain Renewal

If the Registrant via the intermediation does not renew the domain name, it will be Suspended during the 30 (thirty) days period from the expiry date of the domain name registration. After the lapse of the 30 (thirty) days period, the Registry is obliged to cancel domain name registration and delete data related to the domain name from the Domain Name Register. The domain will become available for everyone.
