• The Domain Name may only contain numbers (0-9), dashes and Latin letters, and its combination,
• The Domain Name with capital and lowercase letters are not differentiated between;
• The Domain Name shall not start and end with a dash;
• The minimum number of symbols for Domain Name is 1 (one) and maximum- 63 (sixty-three);
• Cannot contain a dash in the third and fourth positions (e.g. www.ab- -cd.fr);
• Cannot include a space (e.g. www.ab cd.fr).

.FR Domain activation

The domain name can be activated when the payment is complete and we have all the requested documents (including the payment confirmation). Any individual or organization are allowed to register a .fr extension.

Domain Transfer from registrar to registrar

The transfer process performs based on EPP code. The registrant should request the code from the losing registrar and provide the gaining one.

Domain Renewal

If the Registrant via the intermediation does not renew the domain name, it will be Suspended during the 30 (thirty) days period from the expiry date of the domain name registration. After the lapse of the 30 (thirty) days period, the Registry is obliged to cancel domain name registration and delete data related to the domain name from the Domain Name Register. The domain will become available for everyone.
