Mandatory Requirements for .IQ Domain Names

• The Domain Name may only contain numbers (0-9), dashes and Latin letters, and its combination,
• The Domain Name with capital and lowercase letters are not differentiated between;
• The Domain Name shall not start and end with a dash;
• The minimum number of symbols for Domain Name is 2 (three) and maximum - 63 (sixty-three).
• Other special characters, spaces or stressed vowels (such as à, é, ò, í) are not permitted.

Please submit a copy of business registration, any country to our email info@globalr.com. Copy of passport of the administrative contact for verification is also required. If you have a trademark exactly matching the domain, also provide a copy. Domain should match the company or brand name.

.IQ Domain activation

The domain name can be activated when the payment is complete and we have all the requested documents (including the payment confirmation). The domain registration time frame for .ie during general availability is 1 month. .iq domain names are available for 1 year.

The .iq domain can be registered only by companies.

Certain domains are reserved by the registry and can only be registered as Domain Names under special conditions.

Domain should match the company/brand name if you are registering as a company.

Private Whois Registration

At present, the .iq domain zone does not provide means to hide the information of the domain owner. All information (name, address, email, etc.) will be displayed in WHOIS.

Domain Transfer from registrar to registrar

In order to transfer the domain to GlobalR, please contact the support team via support@globalr.com.

Domain Renewal

If the Registrant via the intermediation does not renew the domain name, it will be Suspended during the 30 (thirty) days period from the expiry date of the domain name registration. After the lapse of the 30 (thirty) days period, the Registry is obliged to cancel domain name registration and delete data related to the domain name from the Domain Name Register. The domain will become available for everyone.
